Policies and Procedures

• All walk-throughs/visits must be scheduled with the General Manager
• The Venue at Oak Place is not responsible for any items left behind
• Alcohol is permitted. Compliance with state and local laws is the sole responsibility of the renter
• Security is required whenever alcohol is served when guest count is over 50 people
• Security officer is an additional fee and will be hired by Oak Place and paid for by the client
• Music must be off by 10:00 pm and guests must be off the property by 11:00 pm
• Valet or parking service is required if the guest count is over 50 people
• Event Liability insurance is required for all weddings and large events
• All Wedding packages require a nonrefundable security deposit
• Oak Place does not provide table covers, linens, napkins, catering items, uplighting or trash services

Additional Vendor Requirements

• All vendors must be licensed and insured  (tenting/rental/catering vendors)
• Tents may be torn down the following day if the calendar allows
• Alcohol is permitted. Compliance with state and local laws is the sole responsibility of the renter
• Caters must stay through food service
• Minimum of a professional day of wedding planner/coordinator unless otherwise agreed upon
• The planner must be responsible for all activities surrounding the wedding

Venue Restrictions

• No stapling, nailing, taping, glueing, or using adhesives inside or outside either property unless approved by the General Manager
• All candles must be battery-operated , no real flame allowed on the property
• No items shall be moved from their location in any room at Oak Place unless approved by the General Manager
• No confetti, or glitter are allowed inside or outside of the property.
• All exit throws or send-offs must be approved by the General Manager
